As the chief guest at the International Women's Day celebrations held at Singareni Bhawan in here on Sunday, he said that in the current competitive world, the Indian family system is spreading the greatness by giving equal opportunities to women in all spheres of life and giving priority to the family even while pursuing a successful career.
Women have a special place in Indian culture and that respect for women should start from home and then the whole society will respect it. The mother in every family should teach their sons to respect women, he added. G Surender, General Manager (Strategic Planning) said that women are in all roles of our lives and it is our responsibility to respect them without having any discrimination against them.
